Snow storm day is here!  There has been a lot of communication in the city / wider country around the expected impact of this storm there is no way you could miss it!

Waking up the first thing to check how much snow fell overnight. It’s a winter wonderland out there!  The biggest thing that has impressed me are the hard working people that work day and night to look after the roads and footpaths to make things safer for others.  It doesn’t feel very safe for them!

We had some hotel time as didn’t want to venture out.  Tim really wanted to visit Central Park in the snow but reminded him that we didn’t pack for this degree of cold weather, and that the city was asking people to stay inside as much as possible.  So we enjoyed a club sandwich and some ice cream!

We did need to head out around 12:30pm to get to our matinee showing of Little Shop of Horrors. Walking through the underground subway tunnel there was some really cool art on display. The fried egg really spoke to Tim! It was quite the adventure catching a bus when it’s nearly 30cm snowfall out there, plus it was the heaviest time of the storm!

The show was amazing!  We were so excited to see Joy Woods perform Audrey, and OMG she did not disappoint!  Check out some videos below.  That C#5, goosebumps! We were in front row again (third time in three years!) and to see Joy emote Somewhere That’s Green with tears streaming down her face, feel lucky we got to see her!

And to finish off some club lounge drinks and a visit next door for burger and tenders at Schnipes, yummm!
