Today was a relaxing sea day, starting the way all good cruise mornings should: a soak in the hot tub followed by breakfast. We had a 9am booking for the thermal suite, so after some sauna time and a dip in the pools, it was suddenly close to 10am just in time for Tim’s high‑ropes course adventure. I’m still scarred by my Rocket Ropes experience years ago so I happily played the photographer!

Right after that, we headed to our booking for the Jawdrop slide, the dry slide that shoots you from deck 20 all the way down to deck 8. It was so much fun. It was similar to the ArcelorMittal Orbit slide we did in London years ago.

We squeezed in some arcade games before lunch. The mini basketball game was my fave – I won 3 high scores in a row and was visibly very excited – even had staff come over to ensure I was ok hahaha. We ordered some pizza via room service, and then treated ourselves to an afternoon nap. At 5:30pm, it was time for the captain’s cocktail party, and our butler Meri was very insistent that we attend. It was great to see all the team, and hear the captain speak.
Dinner was at La Brasserie, where we started with pork belly bites and beef/lamb koftas. I ordered the lamb and Tim went for the tandoori chicken. Dessert was a warm cookie topped with ice cream, and it was absolutely delicious.

Tonight’s show was Hall of Fame, an energetic concert paying tribute to music legends. It was an awesome way to wrap up the day before heading off for some well‑earned rest.
